Need help!!

Just recently got a bike on trade and the guy told me it was a 2016 Baja Motorsports x250. The vin says it’s a 2006 Zongshen 200cc. The motor has Baja badging and so does the seat. Can someone help identify what I have. Engine code is ZS169FML. Frame vin is LZSJCML0565167480

That's definitely a 200cc engine code.
Plugging the VIN into here (https://vpic.nhtsa.dot.gov/decoder/) results in:

Manufacturer: CHONGQING ZONGSHEN AUTOMOBILE INDUSTRY CO., LTD.
DBAs:
Vehicle Type: MOTORCYCLE
Model Year: 2006
Make: ZONGSHEN INDUSTRIAL GROUP CO., LTD.
Model: UM DUAL SPORTMOTO 200
Body Class: Motorcycle - Dual Sport / Adventure / Supermoto / On/Off-road

Thumbs up to see someone else using the VIN decoder, here is the URL that will open, just chop off the last section of the above URL.

But why is it badged out in Baja badges but the frame vin comes up as Zongshen? Did Zongshen build Baja?

Yes, very likely. Zongshen builds bikes for many brands. CSC bikes are Zongshen.

Pictures may help out a bit if you can post them.
Could be that someone swapped parts from one bike to another. Either way it's almost definitely not a 250cc in spite of what you were told.

Here are some pictures. But I’m gunna assume that it’s a 2006 Baja ssr200 that someone put a 21” on the front and 18” on the rear.
