hey boogie boy we had the same idea I was watching videos and seen these drifting a I was hooked I bought my bike for 400 and been swapping parts ever since .I'm mad cause I bought the rims i did. I got the 17 off cr80r which was aluminium and I'm grabbing the rear wheel off xr200 17 aluminium wheel too. Those wheels you have look so cool.Im mounting the showa tunable shock I got off the cr80r to fit in the cr500 aluminium swingarm. I only have a 150cc but I'm buying a xr200r engine (i think it has a six speed too)that needs a little work but stock has 20 hp and I'm going to change that with a big bore, cam, fmf pipe , and I might build a stroker 218 out of it.

nice... I am looking forward to see your progress with the engine... I would certainly like a bit more power for my bike... I am pretty much at the limits of the pushrod motors aside from a big bore job...not a lot you can do with them...

i bought the xr200r motor and it won't kick over I think because of the timing chain.Im going to pull it apart and see hopefully its in the top of the motor. well i pulled it apart and timimg chain was loose and it ate into the cam.Does this mean its junk? or Bearings are bad or whats up ? it took out the cam so that means it took out the valves to right? It won't roll over cause timing chain is preventing it. help!

hmm.... that cam looks like it wwas starved of oil while running.... depending on what else got starved of oil that engine may be able to rebuilt, but i would do a full tear down...make sure it didnt take out the bore or any other important bits....

I'm a bit worried that the rings could be shot... lack of oil to the top end can cause a lot of damage... also the parts of the can that smeared... those bits of metal have gone elsewhere in the engine... never a good thing...

oh and I tried to reply to your pm but it wouldnt let me?
