Trying to find new plastics for my bike.

Hello,

I picked up a nice Lifan for cheap and its in good shape and works well.
the plastics on the bike are very cheap and kinda scratched up. I can post a picture of the bike for those who can help me find something nice that I can mend or put on my bike. I was thinking of sanding and painting the plastics I have already but I don't know if that's a good idea.

Please help me find some good quality plastics that wont crack and will last along time.

Thank for all the help much appreciated.

I will defer to the Hondoid experts regarding the best place to find plastic parts for your bike. However, I did move this thread to the Dual Sport Forum, where I hope it will receive wider exposure, and more replies.

You simply won't find good quality side panels and tank cover; they're all like that. Try removing the tank cover, and see if you like it. I like mine better without the cover.

The side panels can be removed and painted. No need to sand them; just remove the decals, clean the panels and spray them with Krylon Fusion. Good stuff.

The front fender can be replaced with a supermoto fender for a cleaner look, and you can usually find them for cheap.

Thanks Spud and Weld.

So I removed everything off the bike, I actually do like the tank better.
Ill look at that front fender like you said on ebay.
If you got a good link send it this way.
Also when buying a light do I have to buy a new case for it?
Sorry about posting duplicate posts, I thought I sent it to the wrong one.
It wont happen again

Ill send you a pic of everything off, sure does make the 200cc look small
Sure is fun riding on it tho! makes the heart beat just that much more!

Ive been trying to find some people to help me with my lights/ rear/switch/ and odometer. Ill keep trying to post and look around myself.. Right now Im just reading thro my manual at the electrical area and re labeling my wires out on my bike so I get a better idea of how it all connects together.

Thanks
