Seat Latch

Has anyone fabricated a good seat latch for this bike? I like having the tools/registration under the seat, but it doesn't help if I need tools to take it off. I tried just removing hardware but ended up dislodging my seat over some rough trails.

I removed the bolts and used one wing Bolt on the left side only.
