shamrock cycles - lifan motocycles - bad experince

hello

I need some infomation on a problem i have for a while.

back in 2009 i buyed a lifan duel sport from a seller in TX called shamrock cycles. I buyed this motorcycle and had it shipped to my home. this was a motorcycle in a crate. they told me they send the paperwork that was suppose to go with the bike. I never got the papers from this person and found out they went out of business.

this bike has been sitting in my garage all this time and all i have is a receipt from paypal that is my bill of sale.

I checked the vin number with american lifan and it is real. it has the vin plate on the motorcycle.

I don't know what to do as I would like to sell the bike but I have to get a title frist.

what can I do get a title for the bike?

the motorcycle is a gy5.

Try American lifan and if they won't help Vermont probably is your only other alternative .

Why not Vermont ? They have a very lenient system to get a title on almost anything ,basically you register it there ,then take your new paperwork to your own dmv and move on happy .Do some searching and you will find all kinds of info on it .

I also have to add that there is no certificate of origin. I never got this in the mail. American Lifan will not give me a replacement certificate of origin for some reason.

I read the information provided from the link.

From what it sounds like it seems that I can get the bike taken care of in Vermont.

But there are a few things I don't know.

1. Can I use the information on the purchase of the bike through PayPal as a bill sale?

2. Should I get the Vin number checked out?

3. Do I need a certificate of origin?

These guys may be able to handle it for $150 (plus Vermont fees).

http://www.motorecyclenow.com/title-service.html

Bill of sale doesn't have to be notarized.
