That does look like a really nice setup! Nice machine work. I have that same Nibbi air filter and am very happy with the quality. Flat slides are supposed to be good, not sure why though. It says flat slide but it looks round???
My only concern is it's rather spendy. You can get a Mikuni and that air filter for less than half the cost and they work very well...and jetting is abundant.

Any idea where to get jets and for what model carb?
Edit: Ok...I see some of the kits come with 4 jets.

That's definitely a round slide, and it appears to be a two-stroke carb. It has an air screw rather than a fuel screw, and it's on the wrong end of the carb.

Nibbi is suppose to be good I don't have any hands on experience with them as I typically opt for Keihin or Mikuni. I don't believe Nibbi does any real R&D all though some say they do just like OKO and KOSO. I seen a PE 28 listed as semi flat side (half moon) though it defiantly does not look like a flat side. Not sure if it's true. I've seen some PE series described as "4 stroke special" but have no idea if this is true or not. The listing does say CG so you might be okay. Worse case they ship you a 2 stroke carb.
If it is in fact a 4 stoke carb it's probably a Frankenstein so parts and jets maybe difficult to find from anyone else but Nibbi. Although I would suspect it would be part Keihin PE and PZ.

Here is a PE28 clone for reference http://www.ebay.com/itm/252336767414

Get a Koso flat slide carb call it a nibbi put a few bling bits on it
and add $60 to the prise......

why not go to alliexspess and buy the un-blinged version
for a 1/3 of the prise..

I imagine they are pulling the same with the round slide in your link...

I have a OKO flat slide 26mm on my 1977 Montesa cota 348 trials bike
& a Koso 32mm flat slide on my Yamaha TTR250..

the "flat slide" is in fact a D slide...best of a round & flat slide...

Main and Pilot jets are on alliexspress for 10 jets of your choice
for around $10 per 10....

32mm KOSO D slide power jet on my Yamaha TTR250... they work well....

I would suggest that a Mikuni VM 26 for about $30.00 is a good match for you. Jets, slides, needles - virtually everything is available for these carbs, and without breaking the bank to get 'em, either.

I'm having a heck of a time locating a replacement idle mixture screw for my VM 26 knockoff. Everything else is no problem though.

no, that's an idle screw, not idle mixture.

Are you looking for the Air Screw? Part # VM20/214.
www.ebay.com/itm/172119470734

Or one of the variations there quite possibly could be others

http://www.aliexpress.com/store/prod...633161488.html

At ~$10 your better off buying another carb like Bruce said. Extra parts always come in handy.

Here is some good info for VM's
