Headlight Options

The little Honda XL223ZS runs great, half chinese as it has become. Lights are LED, except I ve got an old 8 inch H4 Headlight and I don t get enough light! As a replacement I d like to get sth round, that limits the options.

So now i m debating whether to go for

or

or, in other words,

35W HID or 42 watts LED?

Either will be an improvement, of course, but I m not sure which one. Getting both and trying them out is not an option.
What would you do if these two were the only options?

haha, that s right for me too. but i had her 15 years and spent another 1000 A$, for shocks and a new motor, not counting perishables. the bike was always on the road. so a little indulgence can be justified.
