Did an after-work cruise last night to evacuate some bad mojo out of my brain from the damn job. 78', bone dry, perfect. Got home after a mere 20 minutes out, two beers later, all was good!
As the saying goes.....You never see a motorcycle parked out in front of a physiatrists office.

Between 7am and 8am, wow it was cold but a good feeling, I was grinning from ear to ear when I arrived at work.
The way back was the complete opposite from 5pm-6pm as it was in the high 90s. But still, a feel-good ride. Hard to be in a bad mood after riding.

This is a family friendly forum.

Riding before 8am and after 8pm, I need thicker jacket. I underestimated summer.

I have to laugh; here in Yuma, I go months with 'HOT' (coming home from work) and in the morning 'NOT AS HOT.'

Then, right about early October, cold air (morning commute) when riding near all the county properties using flood irrigation. Then, by later October, cool air no matter what. By November (and taking into account 55 to 60 mph winds from the ride) it is quite cold during the morning commute!

Here, it is all about the mornings--cooler than the inferno we start to get by mid-morning in the summers, and in the dead of winter, downright cold for riding--below freezing many mornings, and even when above freezing (probably in the 40's F most of the winter early mornings), still not ideal riding riding weather!

Again, this part of the summer, going home after work--literally hellish

I have an evaporative cooling vest and I think it helps. I'm in a dry hot climate though. I don't know how well it would work in high humidity, since it depends on evaporation to cool you.

Where are you at, I won't tell.

Thought you were back east, not out west.
