1st gear shudder/bang/skip

I had what I thought was a clutch chatter. I changed my chain and the chatter turned into a shuddering. I look down and my battery is jumping around. Strong acceleration in first without the clutch, and it still happens. Is my swingarm shifting (torquing to one side)? Are my sprokets mis-aligned? It feels like either the chain is striking something under the countershaft sprocket, or the chain is mis-aligned and causing a bang when the rollers are forced home on the front sprocket. Uppergears or easy acceleration in 1st and it's no problem. Thoughts?

Oh yea, 2020 TT250 with 2000 miles.

That sounds like it may be a mis-aligned sprocket.. or one with a broken tooth but that would have been pretty obvious..

How does it look when you prop the rear and spin freely? My rear was way out of true and was wobbling over slightly grazing the chain. Kind of noticed a banging before I stopped and turned around. I'm not too certain if my tires aren't just wobbly at this point. I have a wonky weld seam on the rear rim too, nothing major though. How's the space on the chain between your front sprocket cover? I have a slight chain bite going on under my front cover - that could be binding up on the sprocket. Purely theoretical speaking though - street tires or knobbies?
