30mm smooth bore w/stock airbox?

Is there a true 30mm smooth bore carb that will work with the stock airbox snorkel? Having to replace the intake manifold is ok.

Neither is going to be easily adapted to the airbox we have. There are reducers that are sold that clamp to the carb inlet, but you would likely need to make your own intake tube to connect to the airbox as none of the intakes and adapters were designed to work with these bikes.

If it were me, I would simply look into a way to run a 50mm/2" Silicone elbow between the carb and the air box. You might have to mod the box a bit with a home made flange and a steel elbow epoxied in place of the original intake hole on said air box, but that would be pretty simple fab work. Heck, you might be able to just hole saw a hole and epoxy a steel or aluminum piece into said airbox opening.

It would still require modification or replacing of the intake tube to the airbox as the inlet of the carb is is further forward just enough to make the stock one not really work.

Speaking from experience.

I have a 28/30 mm PWK which is modified by JRC with a AMAL style flange. The Amal flange is 2" center to center. IF the stock carb is 50mm C-C then I think I can make this work. I have 2, that I recently took off my 950 Guzzi (each was feeding 475cc). The center to center is off by .8mm approx, but since the Chinese studs are 6mm and the holes in the flange are 8mm, I have plenty of slop. This "30mm" carb is actually a 28mm-30mm oval venturi with a D shaped semi flat slide and NO CHOKE in the way. It might be too big, but then it might just work and go like hell up top.

Amal is 50.8mm center to center with the bore centered between the two bolt holes.
PZ flange is 48mm center to center with the bore off centered from the two holes.
