My Dad is 84...

...and he just bought a snowmobile. I haven’t seen it yet but I’m still trying to get my head around the fact that my 84 year old Dad just bought a snowmobile.

I’m getting old, too. I know it’s a 2006 with 10k on it but I don’t remember the make.

That's awesome cheesy and he has a long way to go. My buddy's 93 year old mother sold her kayak at 89 and still dances twice a week.

The mrs and I finally got out on the sleds for the first time yesterday. Our mountains have some great snow. Our season usually starts in November, but have been too busy. Nothing better than a throttle sensation. My old racing name, ya rode cats, was shittykitty. I hope to be riding at 84!!!! Congrats on Dad!!!!! If he ever gets to West Yellowstone, MT., drop my old racing name to some of the older generation....some of those fellows that i raced with still live there.

My friend had a phazer II once, was riding bitch when we came from a field to a roadway, frost had hardened the bank and I flew off, when I was tumbling in the snow I heard and almighty crash. Turns out the snowmobile had jumped straight up and slammed on it's belly with my friend still on the horns. Both front shocks busted, one bent it's brackets, the other one cracked the welds. Not sure what became of the machine after we limped back home but it disappeared quickly without much talk...

Totally offtopic though, resuming regular transmission in 4....3....2....1....

A few years ago, I had a kind fellow from your country sent me some plans for a folding welding table he built....cool design, but haven't built it as of yet.

Just spoke with Dad and he told me that he gave both our grandsons a ride around the property on his new snowmobile. I think that means I will need to head out to Maine and bring the Kitty Kat back out this way.
