Vader Headlight swap to Harley 5.75" LED

Hi all -

I am changing my headlight assembly out for a round light LED. According to similar items it has 65w high-beam and 35-45w running/low-beam. Ironic that the model I picked doesn't have its tech specs listed. I pulled these numbers from similar listings.

This headlight comes with adapters that do not match the Vader harness, so some re-wiring is in store. I'm researching now whether or not I would need a relay for this headlamp with such a low draw.

at 65w high-beam at 12v draws 5.42 amps so I'll have a 5a fuse in line to the high-beam ??

I am familiar with changing plugs and wiring but I am not sure when to use relays.

I successfully rigged the headlight up using the stock harness by changing the connector on the headlight. It works fine with KOnEOff and KOnEOn. I have not ridden it to test how the beam looks on the road.
I still plan on installing a relay, as I now understand what its purpose is; a remote switch to take the load off the actual switch. I do not know the true wattage of the headlight, but it couldn't hurt to be safe.
