RIP David Crosby

Another performer from the original Woodstock Festival has passed.
Living to age 81 was a real accomplishment when you look at the way he lived.

Mrs. 2LZ and I were fortunate enough to see them (CSN) in Reno when we were first dating in the 90's. Just the three of them. No band. They didn't need one. Very talented and unreal harmonies, even live. Truly a loss to music.

RIP :(.
I remember listening to their melodies with my boss when I was in college.
More young people need to listen to these talented artists!

CSN... and for a while, with Neil Young.
Lots of extremely good acoustic and electric 60s and 70s rock. RIP David.

I became a CSN fan relatively late, after the release of "Southern Cross". Having stood watch on ships, it really appealed to me.
I soon discovered their older stuff too.
"Carry on" is my favorite.

I'm currently 63 and my oldest brother was 6 years older than me. Fortunately, he'd give me his wore out 8 Track tapes after setting up a player in my bedroom when I was a young kid (mid-to late 60's). I was exposed to a ton of great stuff at a young age. Early Neil Diamond, CSN, Poco, Yardbirds, Frank Zappa, Hendrix, Byrds, etc... Still listen to it all. Glad we don't have tapes anymore!
