Two slides! Wow, that's a nice big space.

People are often guilty of simply retracting the slide without cleaning the top off first; if you've been camping under trees, needles will collect on top of the slide and get caught in the seal. I sweep the top of the slide if it's dry or hose it if it's wet before retracting. You can get an automatic awning that protects the slide, but I think it's a false sense of security.

Those Max Air covers are an excellent investment. They allow you to keep the roof jacks open at all times, even while driving.

All stock RV mattresses suck. We put memory foam on top of ours. That beats paying high $ for a fancy mattress. They aren't quite the same size as a regular queen; they're called "RV queen".

Good idea on repurposing the house panels. You can likely clean them and paint them white to brighten up the trailer.

Does the trailer have a 30amp or 50amp plug?

I have seen the maxx air vents. The panelling is going to go up with the back out and be painted.

We plan to keep the slides in when not being used.

It has a 50 amp plug. Was upgraded to 2 AC units at one time.

The 11th pic you posted shows a Maxx Air vent leaning up against the couch.

My point about the slides is to remove debris from the top of the slide each time you bring it in, no matter how long it has been extended.

Can you pull a 50amp socket from your shop, so you can plug the trailer in? If not, can you pull 30 or 20? Anything is better than 15.

I am going to have an electrician put a 50amp plug on the shop.

The cover by the couch I think is for the AC unit, but it may be a vent.

I also understood what you were saying about the slides. Before I put it in I used a ladder to check for debri. It was parked in an open field with no trees in sight. Nothing up there.
