I went and found the videos in different languages as you said. The FX5 sure has a high price point, and a different looking frame. Most of the riders in all the videos of course are younger, thinner, dudes, than the 210 lb of myself. and as megadan said in another post "since my giant self would look like a circus bear on a unicycle". So the FX5, 4400.00 plus shipping, plus duties, taxes, etc. well to the 5000.00 mark. I wonder what market they will target to sell quantities. The Orion bike, sure looks intriguing, weighing 158lbs. $959 delivered plus the carb, and plus the mod? Since they have dropped the price, I wonder if they have not been selling, or if something else is coming? Like you say a cow/camp bike or? If you dig up any more info, keep us posted. thanks.

Also sold as Shi Pao

I ordered this bike from Amazon the other day branded as Shi Pao. It was $1200. I felt more confident buying from Amazon than directly from them. If the order falls through, maybe I'll order from Orion. No word from the seller yet.

I think it will be a fun bike for me since I am 5'4" 150lbs. I'm going to try some trials type riding with it. I like that these have a clutch, unlike the Cleveland.

If you use Chrome you can read this Russian facebook group.
https://vk.com/jamperclevelandclub

Some are putting a 190cc engine in it.

Alibaba 140cc dual sport.
https://www.alibaba.com/product-deta...757721281.html

Looks like fun to ride but I am sure my Gas Gas or Montesa trials bikes will be better at the same weight.

Same here. Those look like they could be fun on the trails. Very lite @ 154lbs.

Very interested in continuing to gather info as a "wife-bike." As other posts indicated, I purchased the Orion RXB-250, but I'd still consider this as an alternate.

I've done a little riding on mine and is what I expected. Not great but I am satisfied with it since my whole intention was to use it as a platform for modifications/improvements.

Mine came in a crate and after weighing the components separately, it came out to 167lbs dry. After my mods I think I can drop 10 pounds but will have to put some back on by adding a skid plate.

It is not easy to uncrate and assemble so the best deal out there is the already assembled one from Orion. Assembling yourself lets you see its shortcomings.

Mine has low end suspension and brake components. Same hydraulics found on the Hawk. The rear shock has aluminum bushings.

Read more about it here:

You don't have to explain that one to me. I know exactly what your talking about. Don't hurt to look unless the wife is standing behind you then you duck. lol

FX1 Xmotos

I'm going to answer your questions about the FX1 #1 the Orion fx1 is the exact same bike being sold under several brands across the world! The CCW is the most costly of the lot and for no reason! They did not design the bike! The bike was in production and selling before the CCW offered it for sale. Anyhow the bike itself is a great and fun machine! it's built tough so you can get it in places you can't get a big bike. My only complaint about the bike is why don't they offer a 140 or 190 version here in the US? So with that in mind I did a test with mine I bought a Pitster Pro 140cc engine and installed it in my FX1 and yep worth the money for the swap! It made the bike very useable to go just about anywhere and with the 21" tires you can do just that! They will roll over just about anything!!Now me being me,I had to see what it would be like with a Zongshen ZS190 5 speed! This is the key to making this bike great!!! I would suggest getting a feel for it with the 125cc and up grade to the ZS 190 engine.Coming from a downhill mtn bike background I felt right at home on this bike and have put it thru it alot and it has held up very well! For tight single track trails it is fantastic,You can roll over logs,Rocks etc. with ease. All in all it's a great design! Tires are not a problem,Same 21" on front and back I put Kenda's trackmaster on mine and it tracks real well. So yes buy one! The Orion FX1 can be had for less than $1000. and is a great buy! on a scale of 1-10 I'd give it a 8-9!

Thats awesome news! The more I hear about this bike the more I like it. If there are still some kicking around next summer, I will pick one up for certain.

Flying Eagle

I use mine for trials type riding. It has Nibbi carb, trials shock and skidplate added. Best mod was Shinko Fatty in the rear with Tubliss running 1 psi. Great traction!

Thats awesome Ninja, I like seeing what the bike is capable of, makes me want one even more! I'd love to see some videos of downhillman with a zs190 strapped to that thing!

Bit of an old thread.
I talked USAMOTORTOYS in Utah to bring in a few chassis kits. No engines but with everything else. These kits were a bit more upscale than the others I have seen with full FastAce suspension and CNC bits. I put a little 90cc semi auto in mine for my wife to learn on. They are much more fun with a 190cc manual.
I have decided that the bike really needs a better swing arm, and probably a 18" rear wheel option. There were quite a few of this style of bike floating around a year or two ago, but it doesn't look like they caught on. Too bad because they are lots of fun to play around on.
