if your pz30 is anything like my pz27, theres a ramp, but it needs to be fine tuned with the needle...what slot is your needle clip in? Mine feels lime the cliff scenario, but its my own fault because i dont feel like dropping the needle a slot, and i have it all the way up ...

A few questions for those that own some version of this bike; I assume I can remove the blowby head recirculator/gobbledegook that runs to the air box, cut the steel tubing and weld it shut? Does anybody have a right foot peg/brake setup laying around they might want to sell? Thanks.

bogieboy, I'm sure that's what it is, I just installed the tank and seat, too lazy to pull it off and the throttle slide again today. I should not blame the carb for my lazyness!

Condition of the carb bowl when I opened it. Notice main needle orifice sitting in the bottom.

Right after a local down pour. You can see the fog lifting.

So, the right foot peg and brake pedal bolt to the frame? Have you found a pic of what you need? If so, I'll take a look through my junk.

You can delete the air tube on the head, just by making a block-off plate and a gasket. You likely have a catalytic converter behind the heat shield in the exhaust head pipe. Once it's removed, you'll be able to jet accordingly.

I pulled the air tube crap off, cut all but the last 1/4" of the pipe off and welded in the hole then bolted it all back up... Leak free and running great.... Cant help ya with the peg/brake situation though...LOL

Do these look right? I don't think I have a brake pedal, although I can look further if you need. The bolt holes on these brackets are about 3" apart center to center.

I was looking at your bike pics again, and I noticed this (in the white circle). What is it?

Thanks Weld! They are very close, but the mount for the 'peg' is centered between the bolt holes, meaning they are higher off the ground. The standard brake would not work being lower than the center of the holes. In the photo of the rear cylinder there is a silver allen bolt that is used for the pedal assembly. I certainly appreciate your time for the research. I 'inherited' several junk 50cc scooters. The rear passenger collapsable pegs are the same. It wont take much to cut and them to weld a flat plate, my laziness and lack of time gets in the way sometimes.
