Wiring lights for Apollo 250

I have a few questions about wiring. (I'm a computer guy, not a bike-expert, so these are rookie questions.)

I need front light and tail light. I purchased a front one, I'm about to buy a rear one. Do I need anything to know about these? Which ones are compatible with my Apollo 250?

This one looks the same as the one above.

This one's holes are placed different.

+ I need a harness wire.

I don't know which one. Any advice?

I guess I need the base wire + a switch for the head and the tail light, like this.

I would get one of the the first two tail lights I personally liked the first one.
Buy the Switch for the turn signal and Head Lamp

The last piece is to see what you have for brake light switches you may need to buy a new hand control for the front brake so you have a switch to hook up to and do you have a switch for the rear brake?

As far as a harness I agree with HB make your own

I just need front and tail light, with an on-off switch. It's still going to be off-road v., but my county allows it on county roads with with restrictions, if the ORV has head and tail light.

Thanks for the link, I just ordered the switch. I also ordered the 1st rear light. I have the head light so all I need is the harness, I guess. I would rather purchase a cheap factory made one, since I don't know how to make my own.

Someone told me that this is what I should get: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Tusk-Enduro-...-/191730916824

The bike has a front break switch. I don't see rear one.

That harness looks like it will work, do you need brake lights? If so you will need to get a break switch for the rear brake can you post a picture of the rear brake foot assembly

If I understood you correctly, all you need is a headlight and tail light. If that is all that is required, the front brake light switch will be all you need...ARH

Thank you, I ordered the the tail light and the switch, I have the front one, now I order the harness and that's all.

Funny store: I ordered a tail light from Aliexpress 6 weeks ago, but the seller gave me a fake (?) tracking number, and didn't reply to my messages. I disputed the transaction a few days ago and the site refunded me, I got my money back. Beware of fake sellers on Ali.

I got the harness, the back light, and the switch too. But...

...how do I connect these? (front light)

...and these? (back light)

I need somekind of a special connector and housing for them, I guess. But I cannot even find anything like the 3 in the row on the back light photo. And I can't unplug them from the plastic housing either.

Why not just use bullet connectors for the whole thing, half of them are already there. Looks like you have pos/neg/brake switch for the tail and low/high/neg for the headlight. You can convert the headlight to a standard automotive H4 plug (buy both male and female parts and wire them up), but I would stay with bullets for the tail light.

Two options. 1. Cut away the bullet connectors, find the opposing male/female plug for the connectors and their pins, crimp the pins on and pin the plug to match the one on the harness. 2. Cut off the plastic connectors and go to the parts store and buy weatherproof bullet connectors - mainly female based on the pictures - and strip the insulation back from the connector wires you cut, crimp the connectors on, and connect the bullet connectors together to the wires they pair with.

2 is going to be a lot easier.
