well folks, took my paperwork to my local DMV, they told me to hit the bricks due to the bill of sale. if the bill of sale is from a dealer, it needs to be on an official document, and detailed. the one I have from APSCUSA is a computer print out. lady told me "anyone cant print this out". "you need the kind, like when you get a car at a dealer, the long yellow sheet."
I even went to a different DMV with same results. (2 different counties also)
I'm waiting to hear back from Don at APSCUSA, to see if I can get the correct "form".
NYS is a pain at every turn.
I will add that I knew this was a gamble from the start so, it is what it is.

got insured though. 99 bucks for the year.

Do you have Tag or Title Notaries in NYS? Dealing with a Tag Notary is so much easier than the DMV. Not sure what special bill of sale NY requires. The yellow form you are talking about is printed out by the dealer here. If you buy from an individual the bill of sale is similar to what APSCUSA sent me. It just has to be notarized which ASPACUSA does.

yes, they are asking for dealer bill of sale. because the way my paperwork is filled out. seller listed as "moto dealer imports" and "American powersports mfg. co" so the private sale bill of sale is out.....
also my bill of sale is just signed not notarized.

Yeah I would check back with Don. My MCO and BILL of Sale were both signed and Notarized from them. I would also contact these guys and see if they can help. http://capitalautotagandtitle.com/ All they want is there money and will do what ever it takes to get it done.
