New guy

Just joined up, been reading here for a while.

I just took delivery of a Wildfire 200cc dualsport this week....... I just love the build instructions, if I hadn't rebuilt a few bikes in the past, I would have been lost. It was missing the tool kit(like I would have used it anyways), and the gas tank leaks, but new parts on on the way. I guess I'll be riding my Nighthawk exclusively for a while longer.

Don

The Wildfire, and the hundreds of "brands" like it, have been around for so long, you don't need a manual, or tools (ok, you do need those--but not the crappy tools that come with the bike ); just Chinariders!

The guys here have worked out all the bugs on the common GY200. You are in good hands here!!

The leaks are not unheard of on new bikes. You say that new parts are on the way so it sounds like you already have it handled. Congrats on the new bike and welcome to the forums!

I should have some pics up this weekend.

I've had to fix leaky tanks before, usually because they were no longer avail. for the bike I was redoing. That is part of why I bought this bike, new parts should be findable for a while.
