Thank you for the clarification. I was also thinking the same thing. I also didn't realize the center knobs on the rear tire as tall as a dime.

if you plan any off pave travel, hold onto those tires! watch wet pavement, but for anything other than that they are seriously good! just don't overinflate on gravel, when set to mfg spec, it can be like riding on marbles! NOT a lot of fun. air down a bit and they grip like baseball spikes hell, i routinely cross running rivers/creeks w round rock bottoms and they do an amazing job.

I've got about 1600 street miles on my Hawk, and the knobbies are holding up better than expected. I figured id just wear them out and then go with some Shinkos.

How many miles are expected out of tires like these?

The color a little off but it has a spark arrestor.
