California is funny with how they do things. A friend of mine who works for a small city's police force in the metropolitan area of L.A. told me that it is a red flag driving around California in a vehicle registered out of state with a California driver's license. They think something is funny, the least being you are trying to circumvent paying registration in California especially if said out of state registered vehicle is registered in your name.

The TMEC was wrecked in an accident in Oct. of 2015. However, I rode it for another 13 months, daily, 33 miles round trip in So. Arizona where I lived. I finally retired it when I bought my TGB scooter. A 'friend' was supposed to buy it; he worked for a local yokel independent motorcycle shop, and pulled a bunch of stuff off the vehicle. He never paid me the $125 for the bike, so I had to take it back. The final straw was selling the wheels and tires for about $125 to a member here on Chinariders. The TMEC is sitting in my backyard waiting for a new owner...free to good home! LOL

Too bad I am not close to you. I would take you up on your offer, as long as the motors still in it!

I will look at putting together a drum to disc kit but probably won't be until later this year when things slow down so I can work on streamlining parts. It is not just a few parts you'll need as its fairly extensive and will require welding of at least 3 parts and cutting/splicing of wires at the rear master.

For the swap, it looks like you'll need:
-Rear Wheel
-Rear disc
-rear caliper
-rear hose(caliper to master)
-Swingarm(if concerned with factory bracket for rear hose or fab your own)
-splice in electrical connector for top of master
-Rear master cylinder (mount is welded to frame--need to fab your own)

-rear master cylinder protection cover

-foot brake pedal
-foot brake pedal spring (welded stay/hook for spring to frame---fab your own)
-Brake hose to reservoir
-brake reservoir

After just looking at it, its probably best not to mess with the swap....
sell the drum bike and buy a new one in my honest opinion.

Now where can I buy one IN a crate and drive and pick it up in S.C.? I want the bike in an Unopened crate. I don't really want to order on online and pay 200 bucks plus to ship. Also, does this new Brozz come with a Genuine KEIHIN (japan) carb, and YUASA Battery like my 2014 Brozz did?

P.S.
THANK YOU guys for getting the Bike we asked for an then some. The rear disk is going to be a plus but not really necessary on my part, but a welcomed addition nonetheless.

Yes, KEIHIN carb. Battery is 12M7AS-3A YUSAN.

Contact me and I'll be sure you get one.

I'll keep both models under $2k shipped. Contact me for info.

Now that you put it like this that is a lot to change not worth it to go to a disc, the rear brake does fine. Thanks for taking the time to put together the list and what would need to be modded.

I am in the minority of people here who prefer rear drum brakes simply due to the simplicity of them, and the fact that both of my TMEC 200s had rear disc brake problems, not to mention these bikes are not going all that fast in the first place. The fact that the new Brozz has discs is fine with me, and I understand from a business point of view you want to please (the majority) of your customer base, not to mention, discs are considered 'premium'.

Is there anywhere legitimate to order this online yet? I know some people don't recommend Texas PowerSports, and their listing says drum brake in the rear and pictures are not at all representative.

Is this the bike and the listing is just not accurate (as typical)?

There was a batch of Brozz that had standard forks and rear drum brakes. Numerous people here complained, and Peace then added rear disc and upside down forks and called it the 'Blue Eagle Brozz'. I think the 'old' Brozz was/is fine the way it is, personally, but that being said, I would not order through TX Powersports. That and the photos are the Taotao TBR7

Just today, I asked them to remove our units from their site. We are in process of making a new page link on our website to direct order the Brozz 250. It should be available by end of the month I'm hoping. I'll post it when it is functioning.

Calling/email me to place an order is always an option as well.

I still have some of the drum brake version left in green or red if someone wants to contact me to order one.
