Doh! Need help replacing a fuel filter on my zong

I had to replace my fuel filter today. and the aftermarket one that i bought seems to be letting to much fuel in the carb. from pictures ive seen on a previous forum here. http://www.chinariders.net/showthrea...t=11717&page=4 it looks like the same pne i purchased but after i turn my fuel on & begin to kickstart my zong. the hose that comes from the carb starts to dispense fuel beneath the bike. what could be the cause of this?

Thank you, Kidd91

It shouldnt overflow because its the floats job to cut valve from gas line into bowl off you may have to take the bowl casing off get a bucket and switch youre tap on and note how the gas will drop into the bucket push youre floats up and it should stop it it doesnt there maybe some grime stopping it from closing tight blast it with degreaser or carb cleaner and keep trying it over and see how it goes.

Is the fuel leaking from the fuel hose? If so, you need to get fuel line with a smaller diameter.

Are you sure you reconnected the hoses correctly? If so, its gotta be a float or needle/seat problem.
