New to me qlink(shineray) mt250

Well finally bit the bullet and traded my headache of a hardtail cb 750/ gs550 frankenstein. Ended up getting a shineray xy250-g2. Needs some parts from what looks like multiple low speed drops. Prob from the ridiculous seat height, not sure but doesnt seem to be much slide damage.

So need a clutch lever unit, speedo/ indicator unit, front light faring, left side plastic. Also really need to find a way to get the seat height down to around 30-32 in. Any ideas on that?

Welcome to my level of hell. Take the base of the lever to a cycle shop and match it up. NEVER say it's off a china bike.

Welcome; we are glad you joined us.

Where do you live? You might be able to order parts from QLink in Texas.

I live in the Waco area, i thought qlink was basically defunct and worthless? I was stoked to find out for sure that it was a shineray so i would be able to find parts a bit easier. Lol

I need the entire base and all, mirror mount and every thing is broke off the top of the mount. This bike had a bad time at one point or another.

Kinda sad, but Ive gone from a bike that didnt run to a running bike I physically cant ride... need stilts until i get the rear down about 4 in.

If QLink is defunct, I guess I overlooked the announcement. However, if you can identify an identical clutch lever for a Japanese motorcycle, you can easily get a replacement clutch perch, clutch lever, and mirror perch. If QLink can't get you parts, I suggest you follow Killerbracing's advice, and take the clutch lever to a motorcycle shop to see if they can find a Japanese equivalent.

Got in touch with qlink. Had to call the dealer line, parts dept answered. Bad new sis they cant sell to a Texas resident, only dealers. They aree checking to see if they have the parts in stock at least. So fingers crossed for stock and then contact the only dealer I know of in Texas.

Does anyone know the comparable KTM model for the frame? Found the honda NX250 engine info, hoping to be able to scrape together a decent amount of info to keep on hand offline.

You must have bought an importers sample or something along those lines. From what I understood, Qlink never imported these in any significant number; my guess is dealer sample numbers. That might be why you have damages as it was used as a Guinea pig of sorts. Not saying you don't have the bike, but rather you have possibly the ONLY bike (in the US)!

Will take some pics in the morning. Spenr most of today deciding what to save, replace oem or aftermarket, and trying to get it tuned. Running rich as a pig, but I cant ride it till i get a few inches off the seat height. Its like unwrapping christmas gifts but jot being able to play.
