I'm pretty sure it's just a breather tube... Some one else will surely chime in eventually though, patience is a virtue People are probably enjoying the holiday, happy new year.

where did you buy your carb, and cdi and if you dont mind, how much did you pay ?

I am looking for a monster pipe for my beast. I want the pipe before i got jetting and modifying fuel, air mixture.

Anyone have any ideas where one can be found ???

I know they are discontinued and hard to find, but they are in my opinion the only pipe worth upgrading too.

Cory, I believe he ordered them from this site,
http://www.motopartsmax.com But it may just be the cdi he ordered there?

I got my carb off the gio auctions, it took some paitence but I got it for $13 (plus auction fee / shipping). Though it hasn't arrived yet.

I'm not sure about pipe but I bet someone has an idea on it.

I've seen them with and without, but it couldn't hurt to have a filter...

i personally would not filter it if it didnt have one to begin with. those can sometimes suck and blow. generally those crankcase breathers run from the block to the breather box. .... strange, hrmmmm

Last time i checked GIO still had the red Monster Performance exhuast in stock, they listed at $99, since it is for a non current ATV that GIO hasn't sold for awhile i wonder if a nice e-mail to them suggesting a lower proce to"help" them clear out old stock will work, make sure you include all the GIO stuff you have bought from them, you never know.

Parts section is down til the new site if fully changed over though so you won't be able to find it on their website til then.

* * EDIT * *, just checked on a link on "MY GIO" from the ones i have bought, both colors are crossed out but it says In Stock so i'm not really sure if they actually have any or not http://www.giobikes.com/Performance-...O-Monster-ATV/

Yes you will have to adjust the A/F screw for best idle and no hesitation off idle, should be about 1.25-1.5 turns out, not sure how much room you have on your quad be we have been using the UNI 15 degree dual pod foam filter with a 1-3/4" mounting flange.
