You're preaching to the choir.

By power reeds, do you mean Boyesen? I bought some for my old Suzuki TS250, but haven't installed them yet.

I've ordered reeds. But instead ordered this instead of just boysen reeds. Who knows what the reed block will be like once I get it out. Price was right on this too

http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item...d=181535749171

I hope it gets here quick. I've got some days off coming up at beginning of Feb and the wife works and hailey is going to daycare. So hopefully get to work on this

Will all depend how I'm feeling though (vasectomy. Lol wasent going to share. But it's not really a big deal I guess)

Well i had today off to work on the bikes
(we dident go through with procedure, wife was on the fence so we decided no for now keep day off anyways :P)

anyways back on topic

HAILEYS BIKE IS RUNNING...not only running like its always been BUT running amazing

started with new fuel lines and installing the new carb

the new reeds never made it in time but i couldent wait to work on it so proceded anywas

i filled the tank a finnished off a jerry can i noticed a tiny bit of debri :@ so i thought id add a fuel filter
im a little lazy at times lol

i also buttoned up the rear brakes.. finally

brake lever

now the rear portion i was missing. i went to hardware store and found some springs

next i needed a piece of round solid stock hmmmm

cut a section out and drilled a hole in it

install

a proper choke cable was also added when carb was done.
it runs it drives it starts easy so far. ill have to try it here and there for the next few days.
I couldent be happier lol
training wheels next possibly. i dragged out Haileys balance bike so maybe ill get her on there a bit more :P see what happens

here is a video of it running

im going to add direct link (thumbnail not working properly for me)

Nicely done! You've done a terrific job of reclaiming this bike.
