WooHoo! Finally got title and license!

After waiting over a month for the place I bought my GY200 to get their Ohio state dealers license, they finally sent me a properly filled out and notarized Certificate of Origin.
I spent the morning at the license branch and got the title and license plate.
It feels great!!!
BTW - on the way back I had a turn signal vibrate loose and the screws that hold the turn signal switch.
I got out the lok-tite!
(And I determined that my odometer is also KM even though the speedo is MPH).

Congrat's. Glad to hear everything worked out for you. I was like a little
kid again when I got mine titled and tagged.

I think i'm going to have to do the Oregon shuffle to get my bike plated here in Washington State, I bought mine from a guy seattle used with ony 30 miles on it. He got a title for it but it says off road use ony on it, so I have too sneak on to logging roads, or drive it in a truck to orv parks. I heard the state patrol was no longer inspecting off road bikes converted for on road use. I might be able to argue with dol that it came installed with all the necessary equipment, or that it is similar to a custom built chopper, in that it was a kit built motorcycle. Then they would want to see reciepts for the parts you used to build it, and all I have the title, so they will say "sorry, we don't inspect converssions". I should have just gotten a hooper import bike.....

My certificate of origin said it was a dirtbike. The lady at the Bureau of Motor Vehicles just changed it to a "motorcycle" in the system. It has a 17 digit VIN just like a real vehicle.

I don't know if they will do that out there or not.

I should have just gotten a hooper import bike..... __________________ Just because something is cheap doesn't mean it good, it also doesn't mean it's bad, an item's value can only be calculated by comparing how much it costs, how much use you get out of it, and how well an item preformes it's intended use.
