California reg on chinese bike offroad

I bought a 250 Apollo and 2 150 coolster quads that are California legal. I am having trouble registering them, it says I have to have a:
Have a DMV representative, licensed vehicle verifier, or peace officer complete a vehicle verification

what does this mean for me? Who do I call for this?

The easiest would be to try bringing them to the DMV for a visual inspection.

Culcune is correct. I had to do the same thing with a Harbor Freight trailer.

I just did two ATVs and one dirt bike in June of this year. You will need the MCO title from the Manufacture of the bike, and you will need to fill out an application for title/registration form. You will also need to take the bikes with you, as they are going to verify the emissions label, and verify the vin. It might be a good idea to locate the emissions label, and find the vin on the frames, and if there is a vin label on the bike.

I also brought proof of the sale/purchase, and I also brought proof showing the bikes had been paid for. It was painless and everything went smooth.

Be ready also for a spit DNA test, retinal scan, fingerprints, hair follicle sample, pubes ok if bald, tennis sneaker / boot print / tire tread scan, in case the spotted owl or hinge back spotted lizards are near the trails you ride.

I CALLED a guy who is suppose to be a licensed verifier to see how much he would charge to come here and he said 250.00. Our DMV has no place to park with a trailer and is impossible to work with. Maybe I could call a Law Enforcement Officer, do they have to be specially trained? I bought these from Motobuys, the dmv says the seller is suppose to do all that if they are from CA. They have 2 addresses and the quads did come from CA because the shipping slip says so, but they said they are based out of state and dont do that.
