Here's a few places, Spud.

http://xelementgear.com/

www.cyclegear.com

www.jafrum.com/

Besides Amazon, Jafrum has it's own store with more choices.

Xelement is also sold through Amazon, but they also have two stores listed on the Xelement site, Leatherup.com and Motorcyclesuperstore.com

I had wanted to get a jacket though Cycle Gear, mostly because they have a brick and mortar store about 15 miles from me. Their house brand, BILT, is decent plus they carry brands like Shoei, Arai, Dianese, Scorpion, Street and Steel, etc. The store in Schaumburg also hosts a bike night once a month with free food and pop. On the down side, sales tax in Cook County, IL is 9.5%. So, I don't buy as much as I'd like from them. That said, http://tinyurl.com/krug35b

Glad to help, Spud.

Red letter day today. The jacket showed up. Too hot to do much other than try it on. The XL fits, but just. Felt pretty comfortable.

Although we are under a heat advisory today until Sunday, I ventured out to the garage and got the seal installed. Pretty straight forward job and I didn't need to remove the wheel and final drive, just the boot. I managed to get the seal in about 3/4 of the way with just my fingers and finished up with my gasket hammer and light taps. Used both my bore-scope and dental mirror with a flashlight to verify it was in square.

It was actually nice in the garage with the door closed. The 'Suckitude Meter' went right off the scale when I did open the door. EEWWWWW!!!!!

Might be a cheeseburger run with Mrs. C tomorrow night.

Remember my 3oz ball peen.

I only use it where finesse is required. However, if bashing is necessary,

As a doctor and as a mechanic I can attest few problems can't be solved with either a large bowel movement or a short handled sledge.

I'll try MOVE this back on track.

About the new jacket. Nice. The mesh makes it feel like I am riding with AC on in this hot weather we have been having. It fits well. Two down sides, the cuffs are kind of tight, so getting the jacket off is a bit of a chore. I will have Mrs. C do some magic in her sewing room with that. The other thing is that the back armor retains heat when stopped at a light on a hot day, so things get kind of warm. The heat dissipates as soon as you start moving, though. I'll give it 4 out of 5 stars.
