Hellcat seat won't unlatch

Just received my new Hellcat today here in Maine! I cannot get the seat to unlock with the turn of the key. Seems difficult to get to the latch under the seat without breaking something. Anyone else deal with this issue with any luck?

Welcome! Those locks are temperamental, you might have to remove the side plastic and unlatch lock with a screwdriver to take seat off. Then fix the lock.

ps. key turns right to unlock.

Thanks for the reply! I thought of that but seems like you need to have the seat off to be able to get to the bolts to remove the side plastics.

Your right....I'm trying to remember how I did it. I think you can get a few screws off and pull the plastic back a little to get to it.
