How To Changing Gear Sensor ( Stuck ) NC250/ZS177

Solving methode for, stuck screw, gear sensor replacement/changing.

Materials :

1. Toilet paper (most important mateial no:1 )

2. Screwdiver (flat)

3. Old metal/wood handle knife

4. Gas / fire cooker

5. Maull / mallet

Gear sensor of nc250/zs177 plastic/abs or idk. , simple cuted with hot metal prensibe ^^




1 . Old knife on cooker stovve on gas fire, heat/roast bit red color is ok. (need 2-3 time)




2. Surgey with laser blade ^^ (use a towel, work safety every time no:1 )



3. Cut it ok, remove need a FLAT screwdiver (gear sensor has O-Ring








4. Most important material life saver, toilet paper on action ^^ (happy sealing hole's ^^ , hygiene rules.. )

Mallet helped screw side impact for opened easy(stuck problem of screw.)



5. Old/original has 6. pin (1 neutral) 5. gear, new is ours RX3 sensor. mounted.

Thanks for sharing the great photos.

Why did you change the gear indicator? Did you switch from a 5-speed to a 6-speed transmission when you worked on your engine?

Moto has now 6.gear and ours RX3 sensor have 7 pin 7 contact surface in. 1 neutral 6 gear, 6+1 indictor on my speed screen fabricated has 6. gear indicator but sensor 5, now correct 6.th.

Yes, I remember your engine rebuild project. However, I didn't know you did it just to get the 6-speed transmission.

Worked sensor 6th. indicator active now, idk maybe all gear sensor of rx3/nc250's same.

Colours

Dominant color / Little line color

Neutral : Light Blue / Red

1. Gear : Pink (1 color)

2. Gear : Dark Blue / Red

3. Gear : Green / Black

4. Gear : Yellow / Red

5 .Gear : Yellow (1 color)

6. Gear : White / Blue

Speedometer/tachometer different, only for RX3 spare gear sensor colors and gears.

Happy end for gear sensor.

The wiring colors for your dirt bike are very similar, but not exactly the same as those specified by the Colombian Owner's Manual for the AKT Adventour 250.
