Couple of cool parts i found -

Raining bad here so can't really work on the Vader, so I was surfing around looking at parts.Came across a cool anodized aluminum skidplate that fits Lifan 125's, so i decided to risk the cash and see if it will fit a Vader when it gets here - the holes do appear to match my engine and frame holes from what i could tell from looking at the photos, then looking at my bike here.
Here is a link to the skidplate :https://www.ebay.com/itm/4-Stroke-Di...0AAOxyDgRQ9vQP

The skidplate is also available in Gold anodizing from other suppliers , in addition to the red, black, and blue shown in that link.

The second part i found at WeBike ,a Japanese bike parts Dealer, it is for a Grom dipstick that will fit the china clones, that has a built in oil temp gauge in the top - here's a link for it WeBike has it on Sale right now for $50.00 US funds.,it's available in several colors of anodized aluminum :

Always nice to have an oil temp gauge on these little bikes since all we have is air cooling and it looks pretty trick , too.

Anyways just thought I'd share since I haven't seen anyone mention either of these two parts and they seem pretty trick !

While you are out looking...

Hey RedCrowRides,

I don’t suppose you have come across an aftermarket shift lever for your Grom Clone?

Enjoy the Ride!

@Kirbo7106

The only one I have come across so far was a universaL style that was for a pit bike in general, and i really did not like the way it fit so i put the stock one back on .It actually isn't too bad and you can jazz it up a little bit by putting one of these on : https://www.ebay.com/itm/Motorcycle-...72.m2749.l2649

As far as I know now, the Grom aftermarket shifters won't work well with the Clones because the Grom uses a linkage set up ,while ours are direct bolt on to shaft ,and the shaft itself is so far under the engine it makes for an odd fitment case for aftermarket levers ,you 'd have to find a lever with a real deep inset ,combined with a shortish forward length and so far i havent located one that is the proper shaft size.
I'm sure they exist i just havent nailed one down yet ,so I'm afraid I can't be of much help atm on that front.

If you look at this lever and notice the real long barrel that would go over the shift shaft ttps://www.ebay.com/itm/11mm-Gear-Shifter-Shift-Lever-Fit-Honda-XR-CRF-50-70-100-Pit-Bikes-110cc-125cc/122318019177?epid=898811309&hash=item1c7ab8da69 and then take into account that

the shift shaft only goes in the stock one about half way ,you'll see why the standard aftermarket design like this one : https://www.ebay.com/itm/11mm-Gear-S...sAAOSwWCdZjDIv
won't work, because it is far too " straight" and doesnt have near enough offset / inset .
It ends up being too far under the bike to be accessible ,the only one i found that "sort of" had the right configuration was so long overall you'd need to wear clown shoes to reach the toe piece in order to shift. So yeah.

This is one I have been looking at as well. Right now I have replaced the oem one with a stock one off of my triumph Bonneville that is much shorter. It is surprising how much better it shifts to me with the short shift lever.
