Mrs. C's B'day is next week so I got her a high zoot rain suit and a nice throw from LL Bean. I'm also going to be in Mexico during her birthday. That 3 day in advance air fare was spendy. At least I got a quick 1st class upgrade.

I knew what you meant.

New O2 sensors, Brakes (pads and rotors all the way around) transmission filter kit and fluid, and a new rear window washer sprayer for the cheap (not anymore) Nissan. It got new tires and an alignment yesterday. All the local Goodyear shop had in that size was Kelly Edge tires. So far I'm not impressed. They're pretty noisy, and the wet weather traction certainly leaves quite a bit to be desired.

Nice! I may just end up ordering a carb off of Amazon for mine to get it running and clean the original as a back up. Ultimately i would not be surprised if i repowered it later with a motor from Princess auto with the 110V electric start lol

This was past saving, the airbox was missing, carb rusted almost solid the valves barely moved and since it`s been open to the elements water had gotten in, peeking through the plug hole I saw excessive rusting in both the piston and the bore, and the oil sump was full of grey goo so didn`t even bother opening it as a new bolt-on crate engine cost me 160eur.

Possibly an 06 Mercury Mondeo. I'm probably playing with fire, but I'm playing financier for a friend who needs a car, but has crap credit.

Thankfully, it's cheap enough to not cause a lot of impact, but it still worries me to no end. I loath doing business with friends.
