Snow in the mountains

Thank God the weather had been very nice here but I have been flying out to the Cascade Mountains and the snow it beautiful there. As you all know I hate the white $#@% in my area but it's nice to visit. It belongs in the mountains!

The wing of Monte's Bonanza arcing beautifully above the Cascades.

Setting up to land in Ellensberg, Washington.

The runway in Ellensberg. Some serious white $#@% there!

9,200 foot tall Mt. Stuart.

Mt. Spud. In some circles known as Mt. Rainier.

Fog low over the Wenatchee Valley.

3,500 (or so, I forget) foot tall Rattlesnake Mountain, by my house. I know in Idaho that does not count as a mountain but believe me it IS when peddling a mountain bike!

Setting up to land in a snowy field.

Hope you enjoyed the pics:-)

In less than a week we have survived January, Doc.

Amazing pics, Doc. If you move to my side of the Cascades, there's precious little snow to talk about.

That's the way I like it Weld!

Fortunately we have had nearly none out here on the East side either.

I am pleased to report we haven't had excessive snow in East Idaho, either. We have just about completed the month of January. After we endure February, we will have the winter beat.
