1 year with the GY2. 5875 miles

Well today marks one year since I first rode my Lifan.

I have travelled 5875 miles and it has never left me stranded except for running out of gas.

Things that have broken, muffler mounts, clutch switch, rear brake light switch, rear master cylinder, gas tank, bulbs.

Things I have upgraded or replace due to worn out items. Moose Bars and barkbusters, Handguards, Duro Tires, CBR rear master cylinder, upgraded engine bolts.

It has been down numerous times on and off road and keeps going. No engine smoke.

We will see what the next year brings.

Allen

Don't forget to include that you've become a Moderator for one of the world's leading(and BEST) China Bike sites in that time...

That's great to hear. That many miles should put me well into my second year. I'm still working on my first tank of gas.

Got the Tusk risers on there and a pod filter on the way.

Also a CRF230 muffler arrived waiting for its custom installion. That may be a bit of work, but I can buy aftermarket tips for it.

Well I will be turning 11000 kilometers on my way home tonight. Just keeps going.

We be carpooling tomorrow in the greasetrap so the lifan will have a day off.

It needs an oil change anyway.
