The initial setup could become very tricky, because the provided leaflet isn´t accurate´ (I´ve fiddled two days with the unit).

If anybody has difficulties with it don´t hesitate to contact me.

I adjusted my throttle cable today. I found myself in a position where I was stopped, but needed a tight right hand turn. When I turn hard right to the steering head lock, I found the throttle cable was a bit tight and I'd end-up revving the engine with just the slightest twist of the throttle.

I loosened the throttle adjustment screw on the handlebar and did the "snap" test (twist the throttle and let go to hear a "snap" as the throttle twists back to its stop.) I did this in the hard left, center, and hard right positions. It was only the hard right that was tight on the throttle cable. A few minutes, and easy (no tool) adjustment and the bike is ready for a ride once again.

It was cold tonight (well, cold for SoCal) and the 90 degree Celsius thermostat did a nice job of letting the bike warm up to three bars while idling. Once I got moving, it dropped to two bars, but that was with slow "putt-putt" type riding around the neighborhood. I am convinced that if I had gotten out to really ride, it would have warmed up nicely to three bars and stayed there. Unfortunately I was pretty cold, so it was a short ride. But the RX3 never faltered or stumbled with the colder air.

The New RX3

With all the holiday arrangements and different branches of the family to cover, Mrs. 2LZ FINALLY got out her new RX3 yesterday for a (ice cold) short putt. Santa brought her a bunch of new, matching garb so it helped keep her warm.
So far, she's loving it and looking forward to the warmer weather. Now....I need to put it on the rack and start the transformation from bone stock to "Mrs. 2LZ custom".

Thumbs Up

2lz, my pulse just shot up a little. if that 450 rx4 looks half as nice as that..... (I know not to expect it, with my luck something will happen like a trade war with china)

see how the rider looks in proportion to the unit...in that, the rider sits down into the frame . very symmetrical

Probably my post is a bit late, but happy belated Christmas to you, comrades! Snow in Moscow is already two months. To ride harder, so how clean the snow is bad, and chemistry, which watered the road turns around in sticky nasty mud. So I closed the season of movement on the bike up until spring. I would like to thank you for pleasant communication and quality answers. I think I'll rarely visit the forum in the near future, so I wish you all in the coming year stability and reliability of your motorcycle, success in business, success in upgrading and modernizing everything. And of course all the best in your personal life.
Пью за ваше здоровье, Товарищи!

I put bar risers on yesterday and rode the bike today and had the same issue of it racing the throttle when I turned sharp right. Had to adjust the cable length below and at the handle along with removing from the rubber strap around the bar holding the cables. Good now!

no no no, should have just left it. would have made for a more "adventurous" ride.
