Sounds like a CA bike! All of my end caps/baffles/spark arrestors have been welded in.

Locks, that is what they make bolt cutters for. Incarceration, that is what they make parole boards for.

Some people have held their bike up by chain or strong rope hung from the ceiling of their garage. Beer and friends help, too. Some wives are helpful, some are not, so that is a neutral issue.

I just grabbed the back wheel and lifted the rear. Pivot it off the pallet. Slide the metal floor plate as far to the side of the pallet as you can and you may be able to set the bike on the jack. Pull the front axle out and use the handlebars to pivot the front onto the jack. Maybe.

The metal crate frame that goes around the bike is removed. I'm really working alone and finding it difficult. My wife is small and weak, so she'd be nervous to even try to help.

The bike is still sitting cradled in the bottom of the metal crate frame (the rear wheel is cradled and the front forks are still bolted down). I've watched the assembly videos; they are only minor help.

With me working alone, I'm really not sure how to lift the bike out of the metal crate frame. Open to any and all suggestions.

All I was really able to do today was install the handle bar and the right hand grip assembly.
make it easy on yourself and lay it down on its side!

New day, Hope all goes well after a good night rest. We all have those days. If I were close by I would definitely be there to give a hand. Good luck.
