New Member from Michigan with a Hawk 250 coming

Howdy everyone! Just saying Hi while I am literally waiting by the minute for Fedex Freight to show up at my door. I ordered a Hawk 250 from Orion Powersports and it's supposed to show up today. I've been looking around here for a couple weeks as I did research on the Hawk and decided which modifications I would do before I started riding the bike. I bought it primarily to ride with my son who is learning to ride on a Honda XR100R. We want to do some offroad, but I want to be able to use it for getting around town and to work occasionally. I used to have a TW200, but I found it to be a big chunkier than I wanted. So when I started looking for an enduro, I just couldn't find anything under $2K that wasn't from the 80's. So as an experiment I decided to give a china bike a chance. This site was the major influence for deciding to get the Hawk and join the community. I plan on chronicling my experience with Orion Motorsports, as it doesn't seem like there is too much info on them on the site. I look forward to the bike and my time here.
