Taotao 125 atv

Bought a TaoTao 125 ATV. Do these idle? When you pull your finger off of the throttle it shuts down and you have to keep starting it. It’s this normal?

Not normal ,try turning the idle screw in a little ,but be careful you don’t turn it up so much that the bike won’t sit without moving .

Here are some things to check/Try

* Clean the carburetor
* Adjust idle screw
* see if the air/fuel screw has been messed with. They are usually capped (brass cap) from the factory.

Is this a new or used unit?
