One kick in the nuts after another......

Those of you who know what I've gone through trying to get my orange Brozz know it HASN'T been fantastic thus-far.

After settling on a red Brozz instead, the red kind of grew on me.......fast fwd to today.

I got a phone call at work from Alan, telling me that while pulling my bike down from the rack to put on the truck for shipment, the warehouse guy DROPPED IT OFF THE TOP SHELF OF THE RACK! You guessed it; mine was the last red one available. So guess who's gotta get used to Kawasaki green until his paint shows up?

This guy. I already planned on painting this bike, otherwise I would have tried to get my money back. Worst part is, Alan has been a great guy to deal with throughout this whole experience.....NONE of this was his fault. This just comes down to bad timing and/or my crap luck.

Time for a beer. Urgh.

That sucks. Definitely time for a safety moment with the fork lift operator on how to operate a forklift properly.

At least they told you about what happened... the place I bought a China Bike from... "Manny" would have happily shipped the freshly dropped bike to you... and then tell you to, "buy Japanese next time if you wanted quality"

Forklift safety is extremely important; the Germans have the right idea:

After picking my bike up at the terminal and seeing these guys... Your story, while very unfortunate, does not surprise me....Sorry to hear your news, but I agree...I'd rather know than have it actually delivered.

As irritating as it is, I agree with you both and am thankful Alan called and told me what happened. I asked if my bike had been inspected for the damages caused, and proposed them merely sending along WITH the bike the replacement parts I'd need to make it new again.....Alan's answer was both honest and professional, saying that it hadn't been inspected 100%, and that he wasn't comfortable shipping a bike to me that may have frame or case damage. After accepting the green Brozz as substitution, it was but a few hrs later that I got new tracking info. Looking forward to seeing the "green meany" some time next week.

During our chat, Alan offered me $50 back for my troubles, and was very apologetic. I would definitely send friends and family Alan's way if they're in the market for what Excalibur has to offer.

No kidding, when I picked up my bike at APSC's wearhouse it was not very professional at all. To load the bike the fork lift guy punched a hole in the end of the box grabbed the frame and shoved it stright off the loading platform to a few foot drop to to the bed of my truck. All the while the front forks were sticking out of the crate. Luckily no damage. But be sure to check your bike over well before accepting the shipment.

Hope the bike is a great one!! Alan sounds like a stand up guy. Definitely starting to lean towards a Bozz over the TT 250.
