RX3 13 T front sprocket lock washer.

Hi. My 13T sprocket tab lock washer did not line up correctly to fold the flaps over the flat sides of the nut. Maybe not a big deal but CSC mechanic said he has NEVER seen one NOT line up. The little tab that goes into the hole was bent so maybe that is the issue. Do you use a torque wrench, an impact driver or just a wrench or socket and make it tight. So I just folded and bent the two flaps up over the corners of nut. FYI - the first time I changed the sprocket, it lined up fine. Thanks.

I'm not sure what the torque spec is, of hand, but when I changed mine, I marked it first with a Sharpee and then after I changed the sprocket, spun it to where it lined up so it was back in the same spot.

I know, this doesn't help much....but it should go back to where it was if the sprocket is on seated properly.

An impact gun is OK to take off but do not use one to put the nut back on. I use a 1/2 drive breaker bar to take off and a 1/2" torque wrench (a cheap harbor freight one which actually work pretty well) to put it back on. You should get at least one flap of the washer to line up and fold over. It can take quite a bit of effort in-gear and standing on the rear brake to get these properly tight/torqued.
