Cross ref to japan chain and sprockets

I have the 428 chain and sprockets and My rear sprocket is not machined deep enough to hold when I drop the clutch hard. I have it as square and tight as I dare, but I am 187# and it will cat walk pretty good, but you can hear the chain jump the rear sprocket. Is this a common problem?

Ok that makes sence. Like if it cocks sideways, it would make the chain out of alinement.
