175.00 new Haven CT to Tuscaloosa . Now how much fuel will it take to get back home on a 2016 hawk?. Good thing gas is cheap now.

Sleep on the roadside (meet intersting people, on the bus and under bridge campsites). McDonald's value meals, your set

Oh and keep that "pistol"near by.
You're killing me, BB.

Do they make you walk through anything to get on a Greyhound? I like the idea of a pistol, concealed since I have my Arizona 'concealed' carry permit (i.e.--trick question, I don't need no stinkin' concealed permit!) for a long trip to Tuscaloosa...

dude i would hop on a bus and ride it here...except... im in nc... and apparently they wont register the hawk here either... HOWEVER.... have you looked into the South Dakota way? Apparently you can register and title it there as an out of state.. everything done through the mail.they send you a title and plate... and on road title... theres your loophole... once its titled and street titled.. i dont think they can keep you from registering it there... Just an idea brother.

otherwise, thats too damn good of a deal for me to pass up and my ol lady will just have to understand... pm me if you want details.. im looking into it for another member now.

Is this a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel? Wouldn't hurt to put the sale on hold and give it a shot

I'm just more stubborn than you Ron. I'm gonna get this hawk plated if it's the last thing I do!

There's always the Vermont route http://advrider.com/index.php?thread...-title.655441/

Or the South Dakota Route http://supermotojunkie.com/showthrea...e-for-ANY-Bike.

The South Dakota route seems more applicable. I've never tried either but might come in handy if I find a smoke'n deal on Craigslist, etc.

yeah....I'm waiting for my new MCO with "MOTORCYCLE" instead of dirt bike/off road. I'm going to try running that through the NC DMV again. if that doesn't work, then I'm going to try the SD route.
