Freak Accident
Our local off road area has dried out and most of the muddy spots are gone. No fleas or ticks yet
 and warm but not so hot yet- it is perfect riding season!We ran the circuit twice since it is perfect right now, and so my son could go through a tricky area a second time. On the way out near the road, I stopped to wait for him to catch up. When I started going, I lost balance and dropped the bike on the right side. My right foot was trapped in the rear wheel well, and seconds later, I noticed FLAMES coming up through the frame where the carb is  Holy crap! I yanked my foot loose and saw that it was the dried GRASS on fire, NOT my carb. So I dragged it away from the fire and stomped it out- PHEW! The exhaust pipe had cooled sufficiently and it didn't start another fire. After inspecting the bike, I saw no melted plastic at all. Close call! Once we were certain that the fire was really out, we headed home, bullet dodged
