25 - life in prison! Jusk kidding. I live in PA, But have had my bike license for 30 yrs. Not sure. I do recommend that you take the MC Saftey course that PENDOT Offers. Not sure of costs or any but highly recommended no matter if your experienced or a beginner. Obey the Law and they should have no reason to pull you over, but definately get the ball rolling and go get that license! Best wishes.

Andrew

Not sure how it is in PA, but most states you take a written test and get a learners permit.

Then you take the riding portion to get your endorsement, but the best thing is an MSF course.

Penalty. I would say it can vary from a ticket to having your bike impounded. Not worth it.
