That would be handy. I'd certainly like to have an old key cutting machine in the shop.

Good plan. That's cool that the blanks worked perfectly.

Not much to update. Family and friends went riding this weekend. Good times were had. I did not get to many pictures though. Sorry. I will be posting the ones I did managed to get.

Hailey loves riding on my bike with me. But as she did on the trike. She has a problem falling asleep lol.
We were on our wY back to our "camp" and she hugged the gas tank and passed out lol
I can ride with no clutch and still change gear. AND find neutral. But the way the seat us on this bike it's very easy to hold her with my legs.
I'm not totally 100% comfortable with that so I ordered this to try
http://www.ebay.com/itm/371108021947
She gets so excited when I ask her if she wants to go for a ride and runs and grabs her helmet

More updates in other threads coming

Dave

I'm glad she loves to ride. The child harness is an excellent idea.

X2!

It's awesome that she trusts you so much that she can fall asleep on a moving bike. Has Hailey been able to try her new bike yet?

Training wheels are an excellent idea. You might find something to work with at your local MCC or other thrift shop.

Dave, I was looking at your pics of the passenger pegs, and I recommend that you fabricate some sort of chain guard. I'd hate to hear that Jess got her leg caught in the chain.

After some off thread discussion with some members
I've went ahead and ordered this exhaust
http://www.ebay.com/itm/281406016181
I'm kinda copying spud here lol
I've been checking ebay regularly for something that would work for about 100
I talked the seller down to 45. But after shipping was 105 canadian. I'm happy cause I'm within the budget I gave myself.

I'll deffanatly look into doing some sort if chain guard. Have no ideas yet. I'll have to look at the bike again

Stay posted

Dave

I'm truly not trying to be controversial, but I ditched the chain guards on all my motorcycles. I never carry passengers, so it was an easy decision for me. However, after a lot of analysis, I can't see where a chain guard offers any protection, even for a passenger. The drive chain rolls forward, so it's impossible for the passenger's clothing to get caught in the drive chain. The rider in front of the passenger protects the passenger from the counter shaft sprocket, but I can't see where the C/S sprocket poses any danger, either.

However, I have verified the chain guard for my Zongshen 200GY-2 fits the Yamaha XT225/TT-R225 swingarms. You can purchase this chain guard from Taoabao.

Your point is well taken, Spud. I hadn't thought it through that far.
