Dragon Chopper (3/4 chopper)

Hey Bros,
I hope to start a place for people who got one of these bad ass motorcycles.Their is NO support at all.Save here.
To start on my second ride the chain tenchener ripped off.
something I think a pre check first ride could have stopped.
The dealer said they checked it all out  .
The limited adjustments allowed me to get rid of the tenchener
(after taking a link or two out)
Front tire is a 70/70/15 and the rear....205/40/14...imposible
to fined. So I did some MODs on the front fork brace and now have
a 120/70/15.Looks beefy and cool the ride is better to.The rear tire
as well as front had lumps in it so at 40 mph it would hop like mad.
I got a BFGoodrench Drag radial coming Wed.I hope this helps
(205/50/14) Ill post more latter
I got a 15T drive sprocket I think I would like to go right to 17T
I think I got a Lyfan clone  ...163FML so.....
I saw the chart for compatibility....so do I order a drive sprocket
from all of them and see what fits????
I ll add more latter got to go to work at 2am.

I believe my bike has the same engine. The 17T sprocket you find in the dual sport parts section should work fine. It will give you some more top end speed.

I want to see some pics of the bike with the BFG installed.

Hey its about freakin time!!Hey fofklift I also have one and i live here in florida.great to see someone else besides me got one.I ride mine daily and i too have had my fare share of issues.Nothing major just hardware mostly.but if you find a sproket you'll have to pass on the knowlege. As for recent mods i went up from a 108 to a 10 and now i'm at 12.5 on the secondary jet in the carb jets cost me $10 at a local KTM dealer.it does have more but i think it needs a bigger carb altogether i think its 30mm and a 32 would be a good upgrade.Least thats wat i hear. But hey if you have anymore questions pm me.

Well I changed the main jet from 96 to 105.I also took the little "clip"
from the second "notch" from the bottom all the way down to the last
"notch."Definitely runs and hits very nice.Pulls a little harder as well.
I definitely need to check my valves.

Glad to hear about your positive experience with the Nology HotWires! Well worth the $50 wasn't it?? BTW, where did you pick it up at?? Be sure to get the Nology Silver plug also. It works hand in hand with the HotWires.

Ill do it !!! But I just got a NGK plug 3 weeks ago.So Ill wait till info
comes in on the coil and get both.
So.......while taking my carb apart I saw what looked like "rustdust"
or maybe dirt.I cleaned out the carb with carb cleaner but 2 days latter
I took it apart and It was starting again.Looking at the air filter I see
that it is like "gawes."Very Very see through.I got a air filter comeing
But I cant help but wonder If the gas is rusting out my tank.
Here in Oregon it is law that moonshine must be added to the fuel
at 10%.So Im hopen that its just dirt and the air filter will fix.
If any body has info on this let me know.....how would you know your
tank is rusting????

Do you have a fuel filter on?? If not, install one, then clean out your carb really well. Try switching gas. Maybe when you filled up, the station just received their gas and it stirred up all the crud in the bottom of their tanks.

As for your air filter, take it out, clean it well, make sure it's dry, then re-oil it with K&N Oil or any other good quality air filter oil.

You can drain your tank into a gas container and then use a flashlight to try to look in your tank. I don't really see how you can "look" into the tank much to see if it's rusting, but you can try to do a visual with a strong flashlight. You won't be able to see the bottom of the tank though. :-(

I know that DennisKirk sells something that allows you to "coat" your tank to stop rust, etc.

Let me know how it goes.

That's cool. Did you order it from Jeff Klein?? He's a good guy and will help you with any questions you might have.

As for coating your filter, only coat it if it's a gauge type of filter. I haven't heard of anyone coating a SS one, so I don't think that'll work if that's the type you got.
