Need a fix

Hi all. Im a new here. Not new to bikes just new to china bikes. I just bought a new lf200gy2 yesterday. Problem is the dang rear disk brake starts gettin tight and slow down the bike. On the maiden voyage I had to remove the rear caliper to get her home. any fixes?

adjust the linkage(cut it alittle if need be) that comes out of the rear m/c . what happens usally is its to tight just alittle pressure on the rotor and the heat will cause the brake fluid to expand resulting in a lockup. there is a thread on here about this problim i think it has pics.

cut what linkage? its a hose

the linkage from the mastercyliner to the brake peddle. if you unhook it from the peddle it is adjustable, but you might need to cut some of it off to have room enough to put the brake lever back on.

I think you just need to adjust the stop bolt the pedal bumps into, it keeps some pressure on the master cylinder and the brake heats up and gets worse...

My dad had that issue with his, and he just adjusted the bolt.

Are the brakes compatable with DOT 4 fluid? Might help out as DOT 4 has a higher heat capacity than DOT 3... might be worth looking into.
