tubes and tires

I'm having a problem getting some reasonably priced street tires to fit my Panterra 125. currently it has a Pirelli MT21 100/90-21 on the front and all the replacement tires I can find in street profile are for tubeless rims. What happens if I run a tubless type tire with a tube on a tube type rim?

Run the tube. If it's a radial tire use a radial tube, if it's a bias tire, use a regular tube.

Do you want 100% street, or are you looking for a dual sport tire?

you may need to drop to a 90/90-21 to open up more selections.... i know that shinko has the 705 model in a 90/90-21, and that is a 70/30 road/dirt dual sport tire with a very street friendly tread.... hope that helps!!!

I'm going 100% street, the end game is a traditional cafe style bike. I'm seriously considering getting a 19" front wheel to replace the 21" so I can drop the front end a couple of inches. I'll drop the rear by playing with the spring in the mono shock.

If the rear wheel is 18", you may choose to install an 18" up front as well. That will help with the look you're trying to achieve, although a 19" would be great also.

I just noticed the TS185 in your sig. Are you on the TS forum? It has been very difficult to log on to lately.

I am, but I haven't been there in a couple of weeks, the TS is kind of on the back burner for now.
