the stamp on the black part of the motor does not lie... it is casted into the head part... it is not a semi as there is no place for the shifter.... this atv is popular make.. the real question is the front suspension or the rear swingarm,... if you are lucky it is not a GIO,,,, POOR SWINGARM BUSHINGS AND FRONT SUSPENSION SETUP.. the bearings for the rear axle are easy to pick up... check ebay if you can wait from CHINA cheap.. or locally about 3-5 times as much..

Stumbled on this old thread i started,.
Poor little guy sat outside all summer, and got blasted by sun, pelted by rain. Dragged the little quad in and put in new starter, new carb. Pretty much fired right up.
Im trying to hook up a relay for the starter.
Should there be 12v on the yellow/red wire fron starter button?
Can i just use a momenttary high amp button that is wired to the starter from the batter, and just bypass the original start button?
The kill swich works. Started button shows continuity. Were does the opower for the starter button come from?
It is charging. All systems are goog.

AC current from the recifier... DC current will burn the start button out in seconds..
the starter relay dose require quit a bit of current to oparate the magnetic switch..

there should be a diode somewhere near the starter relay to stop the AC & DC current
coming in contact with each other...

A high amp button powered straight from the battrey will work..
