Vader hesitation during acceleration

So the bike starts fine and it idles fine. When it's in neutral and I give it gas, it does not seem to hesitate. But when I start to ride it, it seems to bog down as I'm giving it gas so I back off to avoid stalling the engine.

This happens in 2nd and 3rd gears.

It's still running the stock carb and air filter.

Thanks for the assistance!

Did you swap out the carb on your vader?

It seems really hit or miss on the carbs for the vader. I had some very minor sputtering issues at speed when I first got mine but now it seems to be running great.

Yeah, it could just be that it needs to break in a little. I have a carb that I will swap out in the near future. Just wanted to see how it performs stock and I have to admit, it's pretty rough.

I am seeing that if I have the choke set halfway, it accelerates much better and I don't get the hesitation.

Try treating the fuel with Seafoam before tearing down the carb. It worked for me.

Thanks, I heard that too. Will give that a try. I did do research and found that the hesitation is due to gum up carb issue.
